The Institute for Laboratory Animal Management (ILAM) is an AALAS educational program developed to provide instruction in management concepts applicable to the laboratory animal science industry and to enhance communication, team building, and networking among colleagues with mutual interests. The program is a fully immersive, intensive management, and leadership training program over a 2-year period. The program requires a full week of instruction annually. The ILAM program begins Sunday afternoon with orientation and an opening speaker. A closing ceremony will conclude the ILAM program Thursday evening. Upon completion of the two-year program, each student will receive a certificate recognizing his/her successful completion of the program.https://www.aalas.org/education/ilam
