AALAS Webinar: Emergency Response Planning for Animal Research Facilities

When:  Jan 11, 2022 from 12:00:00 PM to 01:30:00 PM (CT)
There has never been a better time to place new emphasis on improving emergency response plans for research animals. The US is evolving from a mindset that has focused primarily on responding to and recovering after a disaster occurs to a paradigm based upon the concept of resilience. Resilience is defined as "the ability to prepare and plan for, absorb, recover from, and more successfully adapt to adverse events." To achieve resilience, planning must occur across 5 separate frameworks: Prevention, Protection, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery.

The fee is per connection. One connection can be used for site or group training. If multiple connections are needed, please place and order per connection. Discounts are available by using the Store Order Form PDF when you purchase 5 or more connections. Within 1 to 3 business days after ordering the webinar, you will be sent an email with a link to register and view the webinar on the GoToWebinar website.

Can't watch it live? Share the presentation recording afterward with your staff. AALAS will provide the link to view the webinar recording to all registrants several days after the webinar concludes. This link can be shared with your staff for watching at any frequency, any time of day.
