2025 Achieving Data Quality and Integrity in Maximum Containment Laboratories Course
March 31 - April 4, 2025
@ The Bluemont Hotel & National Bio- & Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF), Manhattan, KS
Learn to conduct high quality studies in maximum containment labs under FDA Animal Rule, evaluate MCMs in animal models, leverage One Health initiatives & much more!
The five day free training program is offered annually utilizing expert faculty to include topics on laboratory activities conducted in mock Bio-safety Level (BSL) 2 and BSL-4 training laboratories to emphasize the differences between bio-safety levels and the complexity of conducting laboratory activities in a BSL4 laboratory environment. This year's course includes agricultural bio-defense topics to encourage preparedness research and medical countermeasure development towards this area of interest at the ABSL-Ag 3 and 4 level. The course addresses the challenges associated with ensuring data quality and integrity in regulated studies conducted with high consequence pathogens at the BSL-4 level. It will educate the public in clinical settings, identify education gaps, and foster the enhancement of medical product innovation and compliance with FDA's Animal Rule, GLP, and GCP regulations for medical countermeasures. This year's course is unique with an added educational collaboration that includes information for preparedness research and medical countermeasure development for agro-biodefense at the ABSL- Ag 3 and 4 level.
